ERTL BRAND WATERLOO BOY ENGINE 1/8 SCALE (1991-1992), ERTL BRAND MAYTAG WASH MACHINE 1/6 SCALE (1993). The engine: This is a popular die-cast toy replica of the iconic, early 20th-century tractor that marked John Deere's historic entry into the tractor market. These highly detailed scale models are widely sought after by agriculture and farm toy collectors. This unit features durable metal construction, with spoke steel wheels, and a rotating pulley. This was designed as a Collector Edition replica of the landmark 1915 Model R. This model is dust and finger print free! This was displayed only in a private collection and was never exposed to direct sunlight, it is in perfect condition. The wash machine: Maytag Multi-Motor Clothes Washer in miniature made in conjunction with ERTL. It has moveable parts. Die cast with some plastic parts. The “motor” on the bottom is blue. All other parts are honey brown / gold colored. There is a Maytag Multi-Motor Washer label on the front of the tub. The top of the tub has a label that says Swinging Wringer. The top of the ringer piece is marked Maytag K534/K535. The bottom of the tub is imprinted with the numbers 4967-9312.The blue piece is marked The Maytag Co., Newton Iowa, and Patents Pending. The bottom of the stand is marked ERTL Dyersville Iowa USA the piece measures 6-1/4 inches in height to the top of the ringer. The actual tub measures 3-1/2 inches in diameter. With all the attachments and moving pieces, it is larger going across. With the ringer piece outstretched, it measures 6-3/4 inches across.
